A huge predictor of success is being able to think outside the box. Many students who do not play the game are the very ones who change the world. As AI and automation begin to take more jobs, it will be imperative that students become more creative and unafraid to step outside the box. We will see school transform over the next ten years to better prepare students for the rapid changes ahead. I hope these changes will have less emphasis on grades and testing, and include radical changes to the college admissions process. We are raising a very anxious generation right now and I believe school pressure is partly to blame. All students have something to bring to the table. Our educational system should help students discover exactly what that is.
