to not be a person plagued with depression
true darkness is living
with someone who does
everyday is gloom
no one notices the sun pouring into the room
the possibilities to laugh
to feel joy
getting up
becomes a hard thing to do
everyday is like the one before
the same ceiling
the same floor
the heart is a heavy wood locked door
the loss of happiness
is immeasurable
i rise believing in the new day
by noon
there is nothing new
just dark clouds
smothering blue
everywhere
