rust

in my life

i’ve had moments

that felt like a movie

a place and a time

i was the star

where i tconnected to the universe

all things seemed possible

but that seems so long ago

that feeling of bliss

of lucky me

why oh why

does the world prefer

darkness

with a garden to cultivate

we are shoved in a corner

to rust

and then

time runs out

regrets

suffocate us

out of the blue

we are tragically

swept away

with the dust

eyes that have died

forgotten smiles

dreams

that no one knows

they belong only to us
