The Town That Raised Me

When I think about growing up in Shelby, I cannot fail to mention my introduction to the birds and the bees. There was an innocence in my early relationships, something lacking today. There were no iPhones, no computers, no social media, and no texting. As impossible as it seems, somehow, we connected. It was more romantic, there was more intrigue, and I may be going out on a limb here, but there were far more butterflies of the heart.
